Sustainable Aqua-tech Farming of Anguilla(eel)
One of Singaz Global core investment area is sustainable aqua-tech farming of Anguilla(eel). We have established our first farm in 2017, with a total land size of 87,000 m2, it is also the first aqua-tech eel farm in the Sichuan Province of China.
The farm is covering the end-to-end supply chain from farming to processing and manufacturing; from local distribution to international export and also the creation of in-house Brands for retails.
We have harvested the best farming techniques for the specific eel species with our group of professional in the aquatic studies. Through the intensive Research & Development over the years, we successful lowered the mortality rate substantially in which this achievement has surpassed many of our peers in the same industry. And, we sourced the best water and ideal geographical that is closest to the eel living environment.
Our Sustainable Farming Technology
The sustainable eel farm is built based on flow-in system with proper filtration, only water that met the requirements and quality will be pumping into the tanks. We have secured the best source of underground water from more than 60m and below with a pH level close to 7.0 which is the most suitable for eel farming. This water is channeled into the tanks on the daily basis to allow best living conditions for eel growth. Subsequently, the used water will be recycled for downstream farming by others. Our farming facilities incorporated a range of technological solutions, from inland insulated concrete production tanks, to the application of IoT devices, ensuring the living environment for eel is kept constant at an optimum.
We have implanted IoT sensing devices covering the entire farm to monitor the water condition, air humidity, temperature, growth and feeding condition of the eel. Any of these aspects will to fall below control range, alert will be triggered for necessary protocols.
We have developed two proprietary devices as part of our farming technology. One is the power-saving device that maintain the constant temperature of the water, and it can save up to 85% of the electricity consumptions compared to conventional water boiler or cooler. Another will be the automated smart size segregation system which allow us to segregate live fish into different categories by size and weight, follow by distributing into the designated tanks.
